STEVEN G. NORDHOFF, esq.

With more than 29 years in practice and the entirety of his career dedicated towards Family Law, Steve’s experience and dedication is unparalleled when it comes to navigating and negotiating all aspects of your family law case, especially cases involving intricate financial issues (stock options, business valuation, self-employed cash flow,  judgment enforcement, etc.)  Steve has handled complex mediations, appellate matters, and many convoluted financial cases, but believes a party should start with an eye towards settlement whenever possible. As a father and a husband, Steve truly understands the concerns, caveats, and intricacies of the cases he takes. He is also involved in various charitable organizations, including 15 years as Vice-President of “I Padrini di Antonello”, which focuses on one-to-one giving to underprivileged and abused children.

SANDY A. WAKIM, Esq.

Sandy has dedicated her career exclusively to Family Law. Her approach ensures that clients are able to identify her goals and how they relate to the law. Sandy understands the importance of active listening in order to achieve a client’s objective and establishing a strategy that is unique to each client’s individual needs. She recognizes that zealous advocacy is a non-negotiable aspect in Family Law. While in law school Sandy was a member of the Trial Advocacy Honors Board, Alternative Dispute Resolution Program, and completed an externship with the OC Public Defender’s Office. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and traveling.

MARIA MONTELONGO

Maria earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from California State University, Long Beach. She later received a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from an ABA approved program. Prior to joining Nordhoff Law & Mediation she worked as a legal assistant specializing in family law. She works primarily with Steve Nordhoff but also provides support to other members of the firm. Maria’s keen eye and attention to detail make her a true asset. Please contact her if you have any questions regarding your case with Steve.
